Areola nipple tattooing, is an incredible service available to those primarily affected by breast cancer, who are post breast reconstruction or breast surgery. This service is not limited to breast cancer survivors, and is also available to people who are transgender, as well as for cosmetic purposes. The process includes creating a 3D nipple that gives the illusion of protrusion, as well as creating an equally realistic surrounding areola.

For those post breast reconstruction or surgery, the procedure will differ depending on if you need unilateral or bilateral tattooing. Unilateral tattooing means I will closely match the colour, size and shape to the remaining areola/nipple. With bilateral tattooing, naturally there is a little more free reign to create what you want or if you have a reference photo I can closely match what was there pre surgery.

Please allow 60-90 minutes per nipple tattoo, plus an additional 30 minutes beforehand which includes a consultation for shape and colour selection. Please be advised that this treatment is a two-part process, which requires at least one return visit to my studio. This will be about 8-10 weeks later, following this, the final healed result should be achieved (on occasion a third session may be required). I use high quality permanent pigments, which unlike semi-permanent pigments, will not fade as much over time. You must be at least 6 months to a year post surgery, to avail of this treatment.
